Curriculum To accomplish our goal, Life Prep uses a variety of curriculums, utilizing the curriculum that is best suited to challenging the student in the classroom. In most cases, this will be a curriculum based on Christian values, such as ABeka or Bob Jones University materials. Teachers also contribute material customized for the classroom that will foster higher order thinking skills so as to develop a thinking individual, not an indoctrinated citizen.
Classroom Size In first through eighth, we have approximately one teacher to every eight students, with some exceptions based on student needs. High school is limited to sixteen students, with total enrollment limited for the school at forty students.
Teachers The teachers are placed in an area where they have gifts. We have teachers that have been educated and trained as teachers. We have teachers that have a higher education at a B.A. or a Master's Degree level, and some of our teachers are parents who have a vision for this school and for the students and have a gift of teaching. God has provided this school with amazing adults who have given their time to the students. All of the teachers go on to other jobs so please be sensitive to this and pick your child up in a timely manner.
